A. Wilton Rancheria will use preemployment screening and testing practices to prevent the hiring of individuals who use illegal drugs or illegal controlled substances, or individuals whose use of legal drugs or legal controlled substances indicates a potential for impaired or unsafe work performance.

B. All applicants will be advised that the final candidates for any position, full- or part-time, will be tested for drugs and controlled substances as a condition of employment.

C. Any applicant or final candidate who, after being advised that testing is a condition of employment, refuses testing for drugs and/or controlled substances, without a valid medical reason, will not be hired.

D. Any applicant admitting to current misuse of drugs and/or controlled substances will not be employed. (Res. 2021-43; Res. 2019-50; Res. 2016-35; Res. 2014-17)
