The Tribe classifies its employees as follows:

A. An “exempt employee” shall mean an employee who is not eligible for overtime.

B. A “full-time employee” shall mean an employee who regularly works a minimum of thirty-two (32) hours per week on a continuous basis following a probationary period.

C. A “limited term employee” shall mean an employee holding a job of limited specific duration.

D. A “nonexempt employee” shall mean an employee who is covered by overtime.

E. A “part-time employee” shall mean an employee who regularly works less than thirty-two (32) hours per week.

F. A “contract employee” shall mean an employee who is employed pursuant to an employment contract or agreement. It does not include independent contractors, consultants, legal counsel or other professional advisors under contract to the Tribal Government or tribal enterprise.
