The Gaming Commission shall exercise all powers necessary to effectuate the purposes of this chapter. The Gaming Commission may exercise any proper power and authority necessary or convenient to operate in a sufficiently independent manner and perform its responsibilities under this chapter. The Gaming Commission shall meet not less than once each month to make recommendations and set regulatory policy and transact other business that may be properly brought before it. The ultimate power to interpret the tribal-state compact is specifically reserved by the Tribal Council, the Tribal Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson. (Res. 2019-28)
