If an applicant has completed a license application to the satisfaction of the Gaming Commission, and the Gaming Commission has conducted a preliminary background investigation, the Gaming Commission may issue a temporary license and impose such conditions thereon as it deems appropriate pending completion of the licensing process; provided, that the Gaming Commission has no information suggesting the applicant would either be automatically disqualified from obtaining a license or that would cause a reasonable person to investigate further before issuing a license. A temporary license shall remain in effect until suspended or revoked, or a final determination is made on the application, or for a period of up to one (1) year, whichever comes first. (Res. 2019-28)
