The terms used in these rules shall have the ordinary meanings assigned to them unless the context clearly indicates another meaning. If the meaning of a word is not clear, it shall be construed in harmony with the purposes of the rule. Masculine words shall include the feminine and neutral genders and vice versa and the singular shall include the plural and vice versa unless the context clearly requires otherwise. All terms in the act shall be applied to these rules as well.

“Act” means 5 WRC § 4-101 et seq., Peace and Security.

“Cited person” means the person alleged to have violated the act who is issued a citation.

“Ex parte” means to include one (1) side or party only.

“Issuing officer” means the person authorized under the act to issue citations for violations of the act. (Res. 2020-61)
