A. The Department of Cultural Preservation shall consist of an Executive Director, a Tribal Historic Preservation Advisory Committee, a Tribal Historic Preservation Officer, and such divisions, branches, and offices necessary for the execution of its mission, performance of its mandated functions, and to achieve its annual goals and objectives.

B. The Department of Cultural Preservation shall employ staff professionals, support personnel, and/or contract with service professionals as the Executive Director shall determine, subject to the Tribe’s laws and the Tribe’s approved budget.

C. The Department of Cultural Preservation shall maintain the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer program to assume part of the functions of the State Historical Preservation Officer on tribal lands.

D. The Department shall maintain a current organizational chart. The organizational chart shall accompany the Chairperson’s annual budget submission and any requested budget modifications. (Res. 2022-10 (Exh. A); Res. 2017-20)
