A. The Wilton Rancheria Courts are located at: 9728 Kent Street, Elk Grove, California 95624. Court business shall be conducted at the Courts’ location or at other places set by the Chief Judge when the interests of justice require a different location or as part of an educational or governmental program.

B. Regular business hours at the Court shall be Monday through Friday of each week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

C. Court holiday closures, inclement weather closures, and emergency closures will be the same closures observed by the Wilton Rancheria government. The Court may also be closed from time to time for administrative closures. Office closures shall be distributed to the Wilton Rancheria executive and legislative branches and posted on the Court’s website and at conspicuous places at the Court building.

D. Emergency Closures. The Court may be closed if weather, technological failure or other hazardous or emergency conditions or events exist that threaten the safety and welfare of the employees and Court patrons, or if the Court is unable to operate or must take immediate action to protect the Court, its employees and patrons and/or property. The Chief Judge is authorized to order such closure by entering an administrative order closing the Court, which shall be filed with the Court Clerk. The Chief Judge shall notify the Tribal Council and Tribal Chairperson’s office of any decision to close the Court. All oral notifications must be followed as soon as practicable with a written statement outlining the reason for and length of such Court closure.
