Unless they resign from office, judges shall not accept appointments to governmental board, committee, commission or other position within the Tribe. Judges may, however, serve on nontribal committees or commissions that are concerned with the general improvement of the law, the legal system, or the administration of justice, provided the subject matter is unrelated to the Tribe. Judges may represent the judicial branch on ceremonial occasions or in connection with Wilton Rancheria historical, educational, and cultural activities.
