Judges shall maintain the dignity appropriate to the judicial office and should refrain from any political activity which might interfere with the performance of his or her judicial duties. Judges shall not make pledges or promises of conduct in judicial office other than the faithful and impartial performance of the duties of the office, nor announce his or her views on disputed legal or political issues. Generally, judges may attend political gatherings, speak at such gatherings on his or her own behalf and/or contribute to a political party. (Res. 2021-43; Res. 2020-59; Res. 2020-42 Exh. A)
