To promote the Tribal Court’s mission to provide dispute resolution to the Wilton Rancheria community, all cases shall be styled by identifying the subject matter and the names of the involved parties.

A. When a party is a minor, he or she shall appear by parent or legal guardian, or if he or she has no parent or legal guardian or the Court determines it would be in the minor’s best interests, the Court shall appoint a legal representative.

B. In all cases, minors shall only be referred to by their initials and dates of birth in public records.

C. When an incompetent person is a party to an action, he or she must appear by legal guardian. If he or she has no legal guardian, or if the Court determines it would be in the incompetent person’s best interests, the Court may appoint a guardian ad litem. (Res. 2021-43; Res. 2020-60)
