The Court’s decision will be more informed when all interested parties have the opportunity to provide information regarding their position on the language presented for review. Therefore, petitioner and the other interested party may file pleadings in support of their position within thirty (30) days of the date the Court certifies the constitutional question(s).

A. Each party may submit one (1) pleading limited to one (1) to fifteen (15) pages. The Court may increase the number of pages based on the number and complexity of the constitutional question(s).

B. The parties may also attach an appendix of all supporting documents to their pleadings, which shall contain copies of all documents cited in the pleading, including, but not limited to, all cases and statutes.

C. Pleadings and appendices shall contain a table of contents and an index of authorities and shall be bound in any reasonable manner.

D. The parties may file their pleadings in accordance with the Court’s electronic filing rule. In lieu of a hard copy, the appendices may be filed on a portable storage device, such as a USB flash drive, if appropriate.

E. The Court may modify any deadlines upon motion of a party or upon its own motion when such modification will serve the interests of justice. (Res. 2020-71)
