The Financial Division shall:

A. Facilitate the smooth operation of tribal operations by providing timely information and approvals.

B. Account for the Tribe’s assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenditures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and standards of internal control.

C. Meet separately on a monthly basis with the Executive Directors of each tribal department to consider and reconcile individual department budgets.

D. Meet separately on a monthly basis with grant managers regarding each individual tribal grant.

E. Provide regular financial reporting to the Tribal Council as detailed within the Budget and Audit Act of 2015.

F. Provide summary financial reporting during annual General Council meetings.

G. Execute the individual objectives of each subdivision, branch, and program office, as may be created from time to time, such as Government Accounting, Casino Accounting, and Controller.

H. Perform any other functions or responsibilities as determined by the Chairperson and/or Tribal Council pursuant to an official act. (Res. 2023-55)
