§ 2-302 Executive Director.

A. The Executive Director of the Department of Indian Child Welfare shall be appointed by the Chairperson and confirmed by the Tribal Council.
B. The Executive Director shall be a full-time employee of the Tribe and paid compensation commensurate with his or her skills, Indian child welfare experience, and responsibilities within the standards of compensation established by the Tribe’s budget.
C. The Executive Director shall be responsible for operating within the annually appropriated budget for the Department of Indian Child Welfare. (Res. 2013-9)
