§ 1-201 Appointment of judges.

A. The Chief Judge, Associate Judges, and Appellate Judges shall be selected and appointed by the Tribal Council.
B. The Tribal Council may reappoint any judge at the expiration of the judge’s term of office;
C. The Tribal Council shall apply Native American preference in its selection of any judge under this section. (Res. 2021-43; Res. 2020-76; Res. 2019-08)
