Article III. Tribal Court Administrative Provisions

A. The Chief Judge shall establish written rules, or propose amendments to adopted rules, governing the conduct of the Wilton Rancheria Courts, including Rules of Civil Procedure, Rules of Criminal Procedure, Rules of Juvenile Procedure, Rules of Evidence, and Appellate Rules and submit such rules or amendments to Tribal Council for final approval.*

B. Upon submission, Tribal Council will have forty-five (45) days to modify, adopt, or reject the proposed rules or amendments. If the Tribal Council does not act within forty-five (45) days, the rules or amendments will be deemed approved.

C. The Court rules shall be codified as part of the Tribe’s Judicial Code. (Res. 2021-43; Res. 2020-76; Res. 2019-08)
