A. Introductions. Following any opening by the Spokesperson for the Traditional Court, the conference shall start with introductions, each person stating their name and relationship to the situation.

B. Discussion. The Traditional Court shall conduct the conference to determine the nature of the dispute and to identify possible resolutions. The Traditional Court may, in its discretion, allow the parties to share documents and other items that are relevant to the dispute.

C. Other Participants. The Traditional Court may in its discretion allow other persons to participate in the Traditional Court conference if it would assist with the peacemaking process.

D. Recess. The Traditional Court may recess at any time to confer in private to discuss the conference and make recommendations to resolve the dispute, or at the request of any party.

E. Duration of Conference. The conference shall proceed until the parties agree with the recommendations being made or arrive at a different mutually agreeable resolution. Depending on the circumstances the Traditional Court may need to recess and resume the conference at a later time or date.

F. Conclusion. The Traditional Court may take any appropriate action to close the conference. The Traditional Court panel may ask for final clarification and agreement on specific issues. The Traditional Court may take certain issues under consideration without reaching a resolution or recommendation during the conference. (Res. 2022-24 (Exh. A))
