A. The Tribal Council shall hold a confirmation hearing to obtain further information about or from a candidate and to obtain further information from the Chairperson regarding the candidate selection process.

B. The Tribal Council shall schedule and conduct a confirmation hearing on each nomination within twenty-one (21) calendar days of receipt of the Chairperson’s nomination letter.

C. The Tribal Council shall schedule and conduct a confirmation vote on each nomination within fourteen (14) calendar days of the confirmation hearing.

D. The Tribal Council shall pass a resolution confirming or denying the nomination of each candidate.

E. In the event that the Tribal Council denies a confirmation, the Chairperson may not nominate the same individual whose nomination was denied. (Res. 2018-68; Res. 2015-23; Res. 2014-36; Res. 2012-20)
