A. Each eligible voter shall have his or her wristband marked and be handed one (1) official ballot.

B. Each eligible voter shall vote in privacy, unless accompanied by a voting assistant.

C. General Election, Runoff Election and Special Election.

1. Eligible voters may select only one (1) candidate for Chairperson when that office is balloted.

2. Eligible voters may select only one (1) candidate for Vice-Chairperson when that office is balloted.

3. All those candidates running for Tribal Council shall be balloted together on the official ballot.

4. Eligible voters may vote for the same number of candidates as there are vacancies for Tribal Council. If an eligible voter selects more candidates than there are vacancies on the Tribal Council, that section of the ballot shall be considered spoiled, and none of the ballot’s selections for Tribal Council shall be counted.

5. Write-in candidates are not permitted.

D. Amendment Election.

1. The Chairperson shall establish the times during which voting on the proposed amendment(s) to the Constitution shall occur.

2. Eligible voters may select a vote in favor of or against the proposed amendment(s) to the Constitution on the official ballot. (Res. 2023-04; Res. 2021-54; Res. 2020-14; Res. 2015-24; Res. 2014-41; Res. 2013-60; Res. 2013-57)
