A. Any person who suspects another person is in violation of this chapter may request that a Tribal Peace Officer undertake an investigation, provided such action falls within the jurisdiction of the Tribe.

B. The person who requests an investigation under this chapter must supply sufficient evidence to justify an investigation within ten (10) business days of the violation. The member(s) being investigated will be notified of the investigation within less than five (5) business days.

C. Following an investigation based upon the information provided by the person requesting the investigation, or when an alleged violation has occurred in the Tribal Peace Officer’s presence, if a Tribal Peace Officer finds credible evidence of an actual or imminent violation, then a Tribal Peace Officer may issue a written warning, citation, or submit the issue to the Tribal Court for an injunction, temporary restraining order, or other ordered action.
