A. Regular Meetings.

1. The Tribal Council shall hold regular meetings at least once per month to address any and all matters.

2. The time and location of regular meetings shall be established on a recurring schedule by resolution of the Tribal Council. Such resolution shall serve as notice to all members of the Tribal Council, the Chairperson, and Vice-Chairperson of the regular meetings.

B. Special Meetings.

1. Special meetings of the Tribal Council shall be held when necessary or prudent to address specific matters.

2. The business to be conducted at a special meeting shall be limited to that stated in the notice and no additional items may be added to the agenda at the meeting.

3. A special meeting may be called by either the Spokesperson or the Vice-Spokesperson at his or her discretion.

4. Special meetings shall be called by the Spokesperson upon the written request of three (3) members of the Tribal Council. If the Spokesperson refuses to call a special meeting within seven (7) calendar days of the Spokesperson’s receipt of the written request, then one (1) of the requesting members of Tribal Council may call and conduct the special meeting. Written notice of a special meeting shall be provided to the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and all members of the Tribal Council at least three (3) calendar days before the meeting. Such notice may also include whether telephonic or videoconference attendance is authorized.

5. If the special meeting is deemed an emergency meeting, written notice of an emergency meeting shall be provided to the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, and all members of the Tribal Council at least twenty-four (24) hours before the meeting. Such notice may also include whether telephonic or videoconference attendance is authorized. Reasonable efforts should be made to notify every member of the Tribal Council of an emergency meeting.
