A. All requests for agenda items submitted by the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Office of the Chairperson, Tribal Court, or the General Council are to be received by the Spokesperson no later than noon two (2) business days prior to the next scheduled Tribal Council meeting(s).

B. Any item placed on the agenda shall include an adequate description of the issue and action, if any, requested. If any items on an agenda are to be addressed in executive session, the agenda shall clearly indicate which portion of the meeting is executive session, and the description of the issue(s) and the action to be addressed in the executive session shall be sufficiently limited so as to maintain the confidentiality of the matter.

C. By noon on the business day before a scheduled Tribal Council meeting, the agenda will be finalized, and the Vice-Spokesperson shall electronically provide a copy of the agenda to all members of the Tribal Council, the Chairperson, and the Vice-Chairperson. On the business day before a scheduled Tribal Council meeting, the agenda shall be placed on the Tribe’s website and/or delivered to tribal members via electronic mail.

D. A request by a member of the Tribal Council for the submission of additional documents or the presence of additional people to appear at the meetings shall be delivered to the Chairperson as soon as possible, but no later than 4:30 p.m. on the business day before the Tribal Council meeting.

E. Items may be added to the agenda at the Tribal Council meeting upon the affirmative vote of a majority of the Tribal Council members in attendance. When considering whether to add an item or items to the agenda on the day of the meeting, the Tribal Council shall consider the addition of each item to the agenda separately. If a matter is raised at a meeting, but not added to the agenda, the Vice-Spokesperson shall place the matter on the agenda for the next regular or special meeting, whichever occurs first.

F. Unless specifically provided otherwise in this chapter, upon the conclusion of a Tribal Council meeting, any agenda item that was not approved, disapproved, or tabled shall be removed from the agenda. (Res. 2018-68; Res. 2015-23; Res. 2014-36; Res. 2012-20)
