A. The Election Commission shall provide a process for video-recorded candidate speeches for all candidates who can come to a predetermined location to film or submit an appropriate prerecorded candidate speech as directed by the Election Commission.

B. All candidates shall be allotted the same amount of time for a speech.

1. Candidates for Tribal Council shall have up to three (3) minutes for video-recorded candidate speeches.

2. Candidates for Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson shall have up to five (5) minutes for video-recorded candidate speeches.

C. Only candidates shall be permitted to deliver a speech, and no other person may deliver a speech on behalf of a candidate.

D. If a candidate cannot or chooses not to make a recorded candidate speech, he or she may submit a written speech as directed by the Election Commission.

E. The Election Commission, with the assistance of the Tribal Office, will facilitate making candidate videos and other materials available on the tribal members-only website. (Res. 2021-54; Res. 2020-14; Res. 2015-24; Res. 2014-41; Res. 2013-60; Res. 2013-57)
