A. The Election Commission shall hold any necessary runoff election for a general or special election as soon as possible following the counting of the ballots for the general or special election but in no event later than two (2) weeks from the election day.

B. The Election Commission shall mail absentee ballots for the runoff election to all eligible voters no later than noon that Monday immediately following the election. All completed runoff election absentee ballots must be returned to the Election Commission no later than the date noticed by the Election Commission, which date shall be no later than two (2) weeks following the initial election. Any runoff election absentee ballots received by mail after the date noticed by the Election Commission will not be counted.

C. The appropriate voting procedures provided in this chapter shall all be applicable to a runoff election. (Res. 2021-54; Res. 2020-14; Res. 2015-24; Res. 2014-41; Res. 2013-60; Res. 2013-57)
