By virtue of the Tribe’s inherent sovereign authority, the Tribe has the power and the duty to promote and safeguard the Tribe’s interests, sustain and enrich the Tribe’s culture, promote prosperity, and to protect the peace, health, safety, and integrity of the Tribe’s people, property, government, territory, visitors, and enterprises. The purpose of this law is to provide for the peace and security of all members, employees, guests and visitors on Tribal Lands, to encourage civility and positive representation of the Tribe and Tribal interests, and to minimize behavior that is deemed a nuisance or is unlawful, including harassment, vandalism, disruption of the peace and other antisocial acts, both in public and in private.
