A. After consultation with the sponsors of the proposed act or amendment regarding comments received from the Tribe’s members, drafter of the proposed act or amendment shall amend the working draft to prepare a final version of the proposed act or amendment.

B. The final version of the proposed act or amendment shall then be submitted to each member of the Tribal Council for a final review. The final review period shall be seven (7) business days. Members of Tribal Council may provide updated comments for consideration during the final review period, but any changes to the proposed act or amendment based on such comments will not start a new final review period.

C. The proposed act or amendment may be placed on the agenda of the first Tribal Council meeting after the conclusion of the final review period.

D. The Tribal Council shall prepare a resolution adopting the proposed act or amendment and attach the resolution with the final version.

E. Any Tribal Council member may introduce the final proposed version of the proposed act or amendment to the Tribal Council. Upon introduction of the final proposed version, the Tribal Council may:

1. Adopt the proposed act or amendment as law;

2. Adopt the proposed act or amendment as amended during the Tribal Council meeting;

3. Table the matter and provide instructions for amendment to the drafter of the proposed act or amendment;
