§ 4-303 Tribal Council elected office honoraria.
A. Each pay period Tribal Council members shall submit documentation detailing the work directly related to their role on the Tribal Council and its boards, committees, etc. The documentation will be submitted to the Spokesperson and filed by the Vice-Chairperson. The Spokesperson will submit their documentation to the Chairperson and have it filed by the Vice-Chairperson.
B. Tribal Council members shall be paid a biweekly honoraria equivalent to that of twenty (20) work hours per week.
C. Tribal Council members appointed to the role of Spokesperson or Vice-Spokesperson shall be paid at the following rates:
1. The Spokesperson shall be paid a biweekly honorarium equivalent to that of thirty (30) hours per week.
2. The Vice-Spokesperson shall be paid a biweekly honorarium equivalent to that of twenty-four (24) hours per week.
D. The Tribal Council shall submit a quarterly report to the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson on the activities of the Tribal Council, achievement of the goals and objectives for the previous quarter, and the impact, if any, of fiscal constraints on the current goals and objectives. The Spokesperson/Vice-Spokesperson will work in collaboration with the Tribal Council in creating the report. (Res. 2023-54; Res. 2020-78)
